Today we practiced reading to a friend AND listening to a friend read.
Not only is it fun, but we get to practice some key 1st grade reading skills!
As we read out loud, we are working on our decoding and fluency skills.
We will be learning how to read with expression, when to pause in the text,
and how to sound like we are having a conversation.
We will be working hard to step away from reading like a robot!
