ELA: We are starting the "Around the World with a Glass Slipper" unit. In this unit, we are going to be learning about different cultures as we read many variations of the classic story "Cinderella."
Please make sure to send in your child's ancestor homework for tomorrow!
We will learn:
- to identify the changes in narrator in a story
- how to compare and contrast several stories
- identify words that describe feeling or appeal to the senses in stories
- retell using key details
- identify how characters change from the beginning to the end of a story
MATH: We will review and extend our learning:
- with place value
- adding and subtracting multiples of ten
- comparing
- adding and subtracting within 120.
SCIENCE: We will continue to learn more about Sound.
